Why Studio Sol?

Invitational Practice

Studio Sol grew from a desire to create meaningful, relationship-centered experiences that meet people where they are. At the heart of the work is connection—to self, to place, and to one another. The approach is gentle, creative, and invitational, allowing each experience to unfold naturally based on the people, environment, and moment.

Emerging Gentle Wellness Practices

As a Nature & Forest Therapy Guide, my role is not to “fix,” but to serve as a doorway—nature is the therapist. Inspired by Shinrin-yoku, the Japanese practice of forest bathing, sessions are guided through gentle, sensory-based invitations that support slowing down, presence, and relationship with the natural world.

Philosophy That Carries Across Offerings

This philosophy carries through all offerings, including meditation, chair yoga, expressive art, and group-based experiences. Sessions are designed for individuals, small groups, and work teams, and can take place in senior living communities, wellness centers, gardens, parks, retreat settings, and shared spaces—indoors or outdoors.

Because the work is responsive and non-prescriptive, it can be adapted to a wide range of abilities, cognitive needs, group dynamics, and environments.

One Guide for Cohesive Programming

Because Studio Sol offers a range of complementary experiences—from gentle movement and meditation to creative workshops and nature-based sessions—partners are able to work with a single guide to create cohesive, ongoing programming. This supports ease, continuity, and experiences that unfold naturally over time through one-time events, retreats, or weekly, monthly, or seasonal sessions.

The Intention That Guides the Work

Across all settings, the intention remains the same: to create a safe, supportive container where meaningful connection can unfold.
